Flags are another name for cutters. They are large or odd shaped and come in many sizes from 12” X 18” to 4’ X 4’. They are constructed with a wire frame with a 3/8 pin that can be inserted into a grip head. Dark cloth is stretched over it (usually duvetyne) to shape and block the light, they are for subtractive lighting. (See Cutter)
